Versatility is the name of the game with our LED strip lights. Currently available in 50cm and 100cm lengths, these strips of LEDs can be cut to size at 3cm intervals.
This makes LED strip lights more versatile than fluorescent tubes, as well as costing less to run. As with all our LED bulbs, the strips are available in warm white and cool white. LED strip lights are mounted on a 3M self-adhesive backing, so fitting them is very easy.
LED strip lights are ideal for hidden and subtle lighting, such as under wall-hung cupboards in the kitchen. Not only will they add a professional finish to your kitchen, they also provide light just where it’s needed without being overpowering.
Of course, the kitchen isn’t the only place you can use LED strip lights as part of your interior design. LED strip lights are ideally suited to display cabinets and areas.
Waterproof versions are becoming available for use in the bathroom and outdoors. In the garden they can be used to light steps and pathways, and to decorate features such as raised beds and trellises.
LED strip lights are becoming a common feature of restaurants and hotels, where their flexibility and different coloured lighting effects are used to enhance the design of the public spaces. A luxury hotel chain in the Canary Islands even has them recessed into the ceilings of all the bedrooms.
Like all LED bulbs, the strip lights are very energy efficient. The 100cm strip uses just 9 watts of power to produce the equivalent of 40 watts of lighting.
So as well as looking good, they save you money. If you are considering installing strip lights, don’t look any further than LEDs.
