We’ve been using Twitter at SimplyLED for almost 2 years now and what I enjoy most about this social network is the ease with which it enables us as a company to engage with our customers and community.
During this time we’ve been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to interact with some great companies and individuals. If like us you’re passionate about #eco issues and saving energy then here are 7 of our favourite ‘tweeters’.
We like @adamvaughan_uk he’s the Editor of the Guardian’s environment website. Earlier this year he wrote an article featuring our Energy Saving Calculator; you can read the article here: ‘LED light bulbs can save you hundreds in energy bills’.
Green Steve is a London based environmental blogger who after a number of conversations with us on Twitter has begun to write some guest posts for the SimplyLED blog. Check out his author profile here or say hello on Twitter: @GreenSteve_com.
The Green Age
The Green Age have setup a great website that provides consumers with detailed information about the best green technologies available. Their aim is to help you save money and lower your carbon footprint. They have a very nice website, which includes The Green Age Directory – if you’re not in it you should be! Say hello on Twitter: @TheGreenAge.
Eco Lovers have devised an innovative approach to help match up single men and women who are passionate about green issues. EcoLovers.co.uk is a dating and social networking site that facilitates this. Head over to Twitter: @EcoLoversDating and say hi!
Are you a homeowner who is interested in reducing your energy bills? Then check out our friends over @EnergyFriend. Their average customer saves £294 per year. Visit EnergyFriend.co.uk for more details.
And finally one bonus ‘tweeter’…
Did you really think we’d publish this list without including ourselves? SimplyLED are a UK based company retailing LED lighting through our online shop: www.SimplyLED.co.uk. You can tweet us @SimplyLED.
